I hope you have had a lovely break.
We are starting the new academic year with a brand new topic- The Tudors. We will be learning about the Tudor Monarchs especially Henry VIII and his six wives and incorporating this learning into other areas of the curriculum especially English.
Reading remains essential to your childs progress. We read a lot in school in guided reading sessions and sats comprehension work. We encourage all children to continue reading at home. Children must read three times a week to avoid homework club and read five times for team points. Homework is handed out on a Tuesday and due back the following Tuesday.
P.E. lessons are on Thursday and Friday. Please ensure children have the correct kit in school.
