Food For Life Served Here

HC3S are proud to announce that we  have been presented with a Food For Life Served Here (Bronze) Award for all our 444 primary schools in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

The Food for Life Served Here Award is an independent award scheme for those serving “local, fresh and honest food cooked by chefs who really care about quality and ingredients".

The scheme means that we can guarantee that the food on our menus meets certain high sets of standards and values and offers a commitment to good food. The award is inspected annually, is regularly cited as a sign of a high quality caterer.

The bronze award focuses on standards that include removing harmful additives and trans fats from the menu, and ensuring that the majority of food available is prepared freshly. They also focus on assurances that meat is traceable and from farms that adhere at least to minimum standards of animal welfare.

For further information about our accreditation please visit the Soil Association web site.

Please share our recipe and find more on our web site.

Buy With Confidence membership for HC3S has now approved

Schools and parents can now be assured  that our buy with confidence membership with trading standards means all our primary menus have been thoroughly vetted and all our menu details formally checked.

For further details please e-mail us.

New School Meal Price

Just a reminder that from September there will be a small price increase so that the meal for KS2 pupils will be £2.30.  Please remind parents this still represents great value for a two course lunch.

Our Latte or Lunch flyer, available both in a printed and pdf, highlights the comparison between a regular priced latte and that of a nutritious two course school lunch.  These are available by contacting us here.

The increase was set by Hampshire County Council, after several years of the price remaining the same.

Calling All Year R Parents

Hopefully your school has received our new Year R booklet for teachers to take on their home visits as part of their new starters pack.

Throughout the summer, we will be posting useful hints and tips to help Year R parents and pupils be 'school ready' for September on our educational Facebook page.

Please remind and encourage your parents via your web site or parent mail to follow and like our @hc3seducation Facebook page for fun and informative posts about  our primary meal service.

Remember we always post the following day's menu every week day at 3pm and at 5pm on a Sunday.  We have received a lot of positive feedback, as they tell us it helps them choose their lunch with their children.

If you have any questions simply  e-mail our business development team.

Looking for New Team Members?

We are now recruiting various different catering roles for the Autumn term.

Perhaps your new Yr R parents are thinking of returning to work  in September? Please add our details to your web page and or parent mail to let them know we have vacancies with varying hours across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

Our roles are term time only and would fit in well with the work life balance of a new school child.

Our friendly teams are looking forward to welcome new members!

All our jobs can be found on our web site, simply click and add the below link.
