On January the 29th 1909, he took command of the Pamir for her fourth
voyage
( ) and left
Hamburg bound for Valparaíso and
Tocopilla.
On November the 10th 1909, he left Hamburg for the fifth voyage

of the Pamir bound for Antwerp then
Valparaíso and Iquique.
On September the 7th 1910, he left Hamburg for the sixth voyage
( )
of the Pamir bound for Valparaíso and
Tocopilla.
On November the 28th 1913, he sank onboard the Pitlochry following a collision but all the crew was rescued.
